Stairlift Sales and Installation

Stairs don't have to be an insuperable obstacle, no matter what your mobility challenges. Depending on the disability for which it's intended to compensate, the solution can be much simpler and less expensive than a full-blown elevator or platform lift - a stairlift can be installed over the existing staircase, and folded against the wall to keep out of the way when not in use.

Is DIY stairlift installation worth it?

The idea of buying a stairlift unit manufacturer-direct and installing it yourself may be attractive from a purely economic standpoint; however, it can present serious dangers to you and your family. We recommend against do-it-yourself installation, because we believe that correct stairlift installation is simply too complex and too critical to be handled by anyone without proper industry training.
